TapIn Tours & Travel

Redefining travel excellence for the glory of God.

Journeys through Uganda’s most beautiful places to meet God in the quiet, worship together under the stars, serve the poor, and introduce the people we meet to Jesus Christ.

What travel excellence means to us
We travel to introduce people to Christ, preach the gospel and win souls.
This is how we are redefining travel excellence
Why we travel

Most journeys take something from a place. Ours leave something behind.

People travel to towns, villages and wild places looking for rest, beauty and adventure, and come home much the same. We want more than that for every traveller, and for every place we visit.

On an Emmaus journey you will see the wonder of God’s creation, find time alone with Him, worship with fellow travellers and the communities who welcome us, and carry food, care and the gospel to people who feel lost or without hope.

Every journey, five movements.

Personal and shared. Quiet and joyful. Each one is part of every trip we plan.

02

Be still alone with God

Every morning set apart for silence, Scripture and prayer, just you and Him.

03

Gather around the fire

Worship under the stars, Bible study and Bible games with your travel family.

04

Serve the poor

Food and necessities carried to families in need, with a local church that knows them.

05

Proclaim the gospel

Introducing people to Christ, preaching the good news and winning souls, with love.

A day on the trail

Why “Emmaus”

After the resurrection, two discouraged travellers walked the road to Emmaus. Jesus walked with them, opened the Scriptures and broke bread at their table, and they recognised Him. Then they hurried back to tell everyone.

That is every journey we plan: walking together, meeting Jesus on the way, and going out to tell others.

Churches, youth, families, teams

Bring your whole church.

Any journey, on your dates, for your people: youth camps, couples’ retreats, leadership getaways and mission trips. Churches on TapIn can open sign-ups and collect deposits from members in one place.
