North to the Nile
We leave Kampala early and stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track white rhinos on foot with a ranger, then continue through Masindi to the park.
- First campfire: worship and a study on Psalm 19
“The heavens declare the glory of God.” Psalm 19:1

Murchison Falls is Uganda’s largest national park. Here the whole Nile forces itself through a gap only a few metres wide and thunders into the gorge below. Around it, the savanna is home to elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions and hundreds of kinds of birds.
Five days give room for wonder and for worship: rhino tracking on the way north, game drives at dawn, a boat to the foot of the falls, quiet mornings on the riverbank, nights under enormous skies, and a day bringing food, care and the gospel to families with a local church.
