The journey
Jinja sits where the Nile leaves Lake Victoria to begin its long journey north. It is close enough for a weekend and beautiful enough to remember for years.
Our shortest journey and a gentle first step: a forest walk, a boat to the source of the Nile, an evening of worship by the water, and a morning with a local church bringing food, prayer and the gospel to families nearby.

Day1
Forest, river and worship
We drive east and stop in Mabira Forest for a guided walk among the old trees. In the afternoon we take a boat to the source of the Nile. As the sun goes down, we gather on the riverbank to worship and open the Word together.

Day2
A morning with our neighbours
After quiet time by the river, we join a local host church to visit families in the community, bringing food and essentials, praying with them and sharing the hope we have in Jesus. Adventurers can add tubing or kayaking before we head home.

What your journey gives
Every seat carries something to share.
Part of every fare buys food parcels, household essentials and Bibles, chosen with the host church for families it already cares for.
We go as guests: no photos without permission, nothing handed out for the camera, and the church keeps caring for every family, and every new believer, after we leave.
